When looking for software, go to the ITS Apps, Software & File Storage webpage. You will find links to free and discounted software, the Canvas mobile apps, the myHumboldt mobile app, and much more. If you are asked to login, use your Humboldt username and password.

Download and install any software you may need now. Make sure that your speakers and webcam are working well too.

G Suite

G Suite apps iconThe powerful set of Google Apps is available to you as a Humboldt student. Perhaps the easiest way to access the G Suite is through the Humboldt Gmail interface. Look to the upper right corner and click the icon with a 9-dot grid. A list of core Google apps will display, such as Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Sites. Click the More link to see other apps, such as Lucid Chart (which is incredibly helpful for creating diagrams), YouTube, Maps, Chat and Translate.

One of the most valuable G Suite tools is Calendar. As mentioned on the previous page, the Calendar can assist with keeping on top of deadlines and assignments. Best of all, you can sync your Canvas and Calendar accounts. Here's how:
