Academic Preparation
Being academically prepared for college is not something that happens overnight. You learned to read when you were young, and have improved your reading level and comprehension throughout your life. You started learning to count on your fingers and now study more advanced math. Reading, math, and all of the other skills you've developed over time play a part in being prepared for college, regardless of what you decide to study when you get there.
Dr. Ingryd Lorenzana is a Neuro-Optometrist. Born in Colombia, she struggled with reading and discovered only in Optometry school that she had an eye disorder. Click the image above for more about Dr. Lorenzana.
