College Preparation - Freshmen

As a high school Sophomore, it's time to start thinking about options for college and what you might want to do when you get there. There is no need to have a super narrowed down list or know for sure what you're interested in yet, but we do recommend that you start learning about what's out there.

Change can be scary, but you know what’s scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving, and progressing. -Mandy Hale

Note about A-G

We encourage everyone to stay on track to complete their A-G requirements, even if you plan on attending a 2-year school. A-G courses challenge you and help you develop into a better student, making you more prepared for whatever education you decide to pursue. You'll also have more options when it comes to applying to college. If you stay A-G, you can choose to apply, but if you're not A-G eligible, the choice has already been made for you.
